Make It Monday - With Ragu Old World Style Sauces
Submitted by Lookit I Spy Blog
Any dish that requires spaghetti sauce is normally a huge hit in my house. And we have always been faithful to the Ragu Old World Style Sauces.
And now there are two new flavors to add to our pantry - seriously, we normally have at least three jars of Ragu Old Word Style Sauces in our pantry at all times - Sweet Tomato Basil and Margherita. I tried the Sweet Tomato Basil and checked out the Ragu website for a new recipe. And I found a keeper.
Ingredients
1 lb. rigatoni or large tube pasta, cooked and drained
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (about 8 oz.)
1 cup ricotta cheese
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 jar (1 lb. 10 oz.) Ragu® Old World Style® Sweet Tomato Basil Smooth Pasta Sauce, divided
Directions
1.Preheat oven to 350°. Toss hot rigatoni, 1-1/2 cups mozzarella, ricotta, parmesan and 1/2 jar Pasta Sauce; turn into 13 x 9-inch baking dish. Evenly pour on remaining Pasta Sauce.
2.Bake covered 30 minutes or until heated through.
3.Top with remaining 1/2 cup mozzarella and let stand until cheese is melted.
Preparation time: 20 Minute(s)
Cook time: 30 Minute(s)
Servings: 8
Not only was this recipe delicious (and equally eaten by all members of my family), it would freeze well AND doesn’t break the bank.
Make sure you try the new flavors, they are delicious. And check the Ragu website for ideas, information, and recipes.
And thanks to Mom Central for another great product!
