Ever since I was asked those ‘family history’ type health questions when I got pregnant with my first son, I’ve tried to do my best to learn more about diseases and illnesses that have affected my family far and wide. Whether it be a sickness that my grandfather was diagnosed with, my father, or brothers and sisters, it’s important to know your family’s health history. And by staying informed, I’ll be able to pass the information along to my kids so that they are aware.
